Described in five steps by a simple-to-understand bulletin board.
Liceo Scientifico Statale “Filippo Masci” is an ancient and prestigious high school established by a Royal Decree in 1923.
The educational activities of the school, which has a population of about 800 students, are carried out in a brand new earthquake-proof and sustainable building in the ex military area of Caserma Berardi of Chieti.
Liceo “Masci” Curriculum, which combines classical tradition with scientific culture, is divided into 3 main areas: the traditional scientific course, the Applied Science blended curriculum in Biology, Maths and Physics.
For this reason, our teachers are deeply aware of belonging to an important educational reality. In choosing their university career, Eduscopio.it, the Agnelli Foundation's website, has awarded Liceo “F. Masci” as the best secondary school. The website, which has been helping students in the Abruzzo region since 2014, uses measurement parameters based on the average grades of first-year university exams and the number of college credits earned.
The results of the INVALSI national tests are comparable to those of important high schools of northern Italy, belonging to a much richer socio-cultural background. Our Teachers Professional Development Plan, contained in our School Chart (PTOF), in compliance with the Reform Act 107/2015, is aimed at the training and professional development of our teachers, especially focusing on STE(A)M group teachers, in order to adopt a competence-based curriculum in an international perspective.
